Here is a view showing markups for mounting and clearances with the 9" backset rim.

This is underside of the frame looking at the lower strut. The gold solid bushing on the bottom is to connect another strut rod to the frame to complete the lower A-arm.

In this view I am beginning to think about where the exhaust will need to go by posistioning the headers in their appoximate location. The tape measure is showing where the exhaust must run.

The exhaust will need to follow the tape measure to the back of the wheel and out to the side of the car along the rocker panel. There will not be enough clearance under the car for the exhaust and I don't want to run it through the passenger compartment. The exhaust will also need to run under the frame rails as there is no room for it between the tire and the firewall to exit like normal fenderwell headers do. This will require I make my own exhaust headers.

Here's a look at some "scrap" that I had to get out of the way to mount the new double A-arms and coil-over shocks. New steel will run forward to locate new mounts for the suspension, the radiator, and the body.

In this view you can see the cuts I've made. I'm now fabricating new .125" and .250" steel plates to locate the upper A-arms.
