Here you can see where the upper a-arm mounts have been removed from the subframe.


The subframe prior to cutting out the spring pockets to give clearance for coil-over shocks.


This is the AFCO Lower Control Arm Strut I am using. It's 17.5 inch long.


On the frame side it uses a heim joint and spacers (for Mustang type mounting.)


Here you can see the solid bearing on the bottom to connect to the frame to control forward and backward movement. I'm using Chrysler 727 screw-in lower ball joints.
