Welcome to my 2006 C6 Corvette For Sale page.

I am the original owner and have used this car as my daily driver. I also purchased it to use for Autox and HPDE track days. It has been very successful in fulfilling all of these requirements. I have never hesitated to take it on long trips with one being to Denver (in 14.75 hrs) for the birth of our first granddaughter in Dec. '06 arriving for a snow storm. On the return trip (20 hrs via Flagstaff due to weather) the car was caught in a sand storm and had to have every panel repainted. A beautiful job was completed by H&R Auto Body with hand-sanded color coats and three clear coats to make it far better than factory. We also made another trip to Meteor Crater and the Grand Canyon as well as many trips all over California.

I have primarily autocrossed the car, where it has many wins in class to include season championships running with SCCA, AAS and several Corvette Clubs.  Due to health reasons, I have not run as much as I would like to in the last five years and that it a big part of selling the car now. It is very well set up to be competitive in several classes and is a fun, easy car to drive. I set out to improve handling rather than adding horsepower as smog is an issue in CA as well as is sound levels at several tracks.

To accomplish this, I added Pfadt coilover shocks with delrin bushings, Pfadt camber plates, poly bushings (with zerts that I added),  a stiffened tunnel plate, Pfadt motor mounts, corner weighting, and alignment. I also replaced the OEM differential (which slips with big race tires) with an O.S. Giken and changed to 3.15 rearend gears. This allows the car to be in 2nd gear though most slower turns in an autox just as a M6 Z51 can be. On track, you'll find yourself one gear lower than with the OEM 2.41 gearing with the A6 transmission.

I installed C6 front calipers and rotors on the rear to obtain more rear brake bias. I added a brake bias adjuster inline to the rear to dial-in to your preferences. The brake system uses Motul RBF 600 fluid, which is keep fresh. I run Carbotech pads with the 1521s for street and autox with street tires. For HPDE and autox with Dot R tires I use their XP10s F & R. Switching between street and race pads does not require re-bedding. I also added 4 SKF race hubs.

I also added a NRG RSC-300 carbon fiber race seat (12 lbs ea.), a black powercoated Pfadt 4-pt rollbar, Crow 6-pt harnesses, GoPro Hero2 cameras, a Seibon vented hood, a DeWitts EOC/TOC radiator,  OEM engine oil cooling lines, and a Synergy tune to improve A6 shifting and boost power.

I have several sets of wheels with tires and loose tires for performance use that are included in the sale along with other track related items.

I am also including all OEM take offs to include the stock shocks, leaf springs, sway bars, complete exhaust, radiator,  intake, air cleaner, seats, and more.

The car has been in rain, it has been in snow, and driven for spirited enjoyment. Consequently, there are flaws here and there with small rock chips and signs of wear but overall the car is in very good to excellent condition. If you are interested in participating in autox or track days this car will give you all you need without needing to add anything to go out and have a great time. It will also reliably get you to work and out on trips.

If you have any questions, please email me and I will give you my phone number. The car is located in Turlock, CA 95382 (where it can be seen most afternoons and evenings) where it has always been garaged since new.

And, please, no low-ball offers or tire kickers. The car is paid for and title is in hand.

Thank you for visiting.
